Tahira Kashyap : This Is What We Know About Her…

Tahira Kashyap is the wife of famous Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana. They both got married in the year 2008.

Her father is Yajan Kashyap and mother Anita Kashyap.

Tahira and Ayushmann have two children from their marriage. A Son Virajveer Khurrana, and a daughter Varushka Khurrana.

Tahira Kashyap is an author turned filmmaker who is going to shoot her first Hindi feature film in March this year. Tahira was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018.

She has also co-authored the book Cracking the Code: My Journey in Bollywood with Ayushmann Khurana. This book is about Ayushmann’s journey and about the struggles and tribulations he had to go through when trying to make his mark in the Indian Hindi film industry.

She is battling the disease with courage and is undergoing treatment for the same. On February 4, World Cancer Day Tahira Kashyap posted a bold picture on social media where she bares her scars.

She shared a long post with the picture. “Today is my day! Wish you all a happy #worldcancerday and hope each one of us celebrates this day in an embracing way. That we remove any stigma or taboo associated with it. That we spread awareness about it and that we have self-love no matter what,” she mentioned in her post.

“I truly embrace all my scars as they are my badges of honor. There is nothing known as perfect. Happiness lies in truly accepting yourself. This was a tough one for me. But this picture was my decision as I want to celebrate not the disease but the spirit with which I endured,” she said. Atul Kasbekar was the man behind the camera for this pic.

To quote my mentor, Diasaku Ikeda, “Leading an undefeated life is eternal victory. Not being defeated, never giving up, is actually a greater victory than winning, not being defeated means having the courage to rise to the challenge. However many times we’re knocked down, the important thing is we keep getting up and taking one step-even a half step- forward” #worldcancerday #breastcancerawareness #breastcancerwarrior #turningkarmaintomission #boddhisatva Thanks @atulkasbekar for this one❤️

Tahira and Ayushmann’s Married Life

Tahira and Ayushmann’s touched its lowest a few years back during the shoot of Vicky Donor thanks to the lovemaking scene of Ayushmann Khurana with Yami Gautam.

In a recent interview with the famous film journalist Anupama Chopra, Tahira Kashyap said “I was this crazy, insecure pregnant person when Vicky Donor happened and that was the worst phase for the both of us. I think both of us were very immature. I’m sure he didn’t have the maturity to kind of hold my hand and tell me it’s okay, especially, when I am crazy or my hormones because I was pregnant at the time and I also didn’t have the maturity to just take it easy and say that this thing will get over.”

“Both of us lacked maturity at that point of time and you also feel like a whale and considering your husband is with beautiful women all around and you don’t come from that background, you even have the maturity you have that passion towards the fact that you understand art you but you don’t have the maturity to kind of deal with the frills that come along,” Tahira added.

“I was very lost and so was he honestly speaking, but thankfully for us knowing each other for the past nine-ten years before marriage really helped because I know that he’s not a bad guy and he knows that she’s not a bad girl, so I think that kind of sustained and they we kind of made peace with it,” she said.

However, that’s a closed chapter now and we hope she wins her battle against cancer and returns back healed and healthy.

We wish her luck and good health and hope for a speedy recovery…
